Exciting news…Well, somewhat exciting news which is not all that exciting. Indie VK darlings Ayabie’s hotly anticipated major debut single has a name, a release date and a jacket art collaboration that should please their female fanbase. The single is called Aitakute and will be released on May 25th with jacket artwork by none other than Shinjo Mayu artist of the widely popular visual-kei manga Kaikan Phrase. Which is how I want to write this news piece but the truth is there are three CD covers and only the B-type is art by renowned manga artist Shinjo Mayu. Why bother touting the collab if its just 1/3 of the release strategy. At least Kagrra knows how to pimp their artist.
